If you don't have a title for the vehicle, you will need one of the following documents to sell the automobile: an auction sales receipt, a mechanic's lien, a salvage lot lien, or a repossession affidavit. A salvage lot can provide you with information on how to acquire these documents.
One of the classic stories about my dad is his first vehicle. Because his mom certainly could not afford to buy him a car, and the money he made on side jobs and summer employment was not going to get him a car, he got very crafty. He went to the pullapart near me, bought four junk vehicles, and took the good parts to form one working vehicle. Every time he needed maintenance done, he would go to the junkyard and either find the part in good condition or refurbish a semi-decent part. Through all this work, he became very good at truck repair, which made him very proud. He tells stories about cruising around town with his brother in tow like the two of them were the president and vice president in this beat up old Ford.
I had no trouble finding a rock pile. Hitting the snake with a rock, in the head, was another matter. The first rock hit the snake on the back, behind the stick. The next rock hit the stick. But, scrap yards near me had a chance. Robert's grip on the Y stick held fast. By the time I had exhausted the rock pile, both the snake's head and the mouse were nowhere to be found.
Recycling is one of my favorites. I only hold my scrap for a day and then sell it to the scrap yard the next day. I collect appliances, bed frames, ceiling fans, metal futons,etc.. I pull the copper wire out when it is easy to do because its worth more. I will cover that in another article. Just for scrap mixed metal you get about $6.00 for a 100 pounds. Does not sound like much but it is easy to get a 100 pounds of scrap. For example; a refrigerator, washer, microwave, futon, hot water heater, and five bikes weigh about 800 pounds. That is $48.00 tax free!
Some people are doing a cleanup and they just need to make room for their "good stuff." Others are just tired of having piles of stuff lying around, getting rusty and ugly, etc.
Every town has at least one junk yard, which it is commonly called an auto salvage yard because they salvage the parts. Some parts on these vehicles are not functional, but even the most dilapidated vehicles have something that is useful on the inside or outside.
Materials produced through scrap metals are comparatively cheaper. Therefore, people can easily afford to buy things that are made of discarded metals. However, it does not mean that the quality of products made of discarded metals is low. For example, the structure of lots of cars are made of scrap metals. And it is a fact that cars made of scrap alloys last long.
Needless to say, all of this works only with a perfect control over mind. Make a habit of challenging your mind with even more control every moment. Once mind is mastered, the world will be at your feet, height is a petty thing.
With a set of wood chisels for teeth the fish don't have much of a chance. I doubt if there is another predator around that would enjoy chewing through the thick end of a tree. Its vegetarian background gave it a pretty vicious set of tools to bring to the table.
Well, if this doesn't work you will have to go by word of mouth. Go seek the information from historical societies or auto mechanics. They may know someone that either now were a salvage WWII vehicle is or have first hand knowledge themselves.
